Open standards — at every layer

Bus and drive, unit logic, line model, description exchange — each layer on its own standard. Status — by the facts of the code and the test bench.

Standards by layer Four layers from the bottom up: bus and drive — EtherCAT and CiA 402; unit logic — IEC 61131-3 and PLCopen; unit and line model — ISA-88 and PackML; line description exchange — AutomationML. What is in the product

StandardWhat we followWhere it is verified
EtherCATbus for drives and couplers; the master brings slaves up to OPworks on the test bench
CiA 402drive profile: states, CSP and CSV modes; servo drives from different manufacturers on the test benchworks on the test bench
IEC 61131-3: ST and SFCunit logic; compiler check; execution on the test benchworks on the test bench
PLCopen Motionaxis motion blocks in the unit programworks
ISA-88unit model: a unit of modules, a module of channelsworks
PackMLunit states and Command/Status tagsworks
AutomationMLline project export; import in external systems is a subject of the implementationexport available
CANopendrive on the test bench: travel measuredverified on the test bench

Safety: a hardware emergency stop and a software interlock are present; the safety categories of a cell follow from its design and standard protective devices.

How to read the status

Status — by the facts of the code and the test bench

StatusWhat it means
works on the test benchRun on a live test bench with drives and I/O
worksIn the product and used in every project
verified on the test benchConfirmed by a measurement on the test bench, over another bus
export availableExport works; the reverse check in external systems is a subject of the implementation
What we do not claim

Compatibility boundaries

  • Safety certificationCategories under ISO 13849 and IEC 61508 are not claimed: they are provided by the cell design and standard protective devices.
  • Compatibility with specific CAD systemsThe line description is exported to AutomationML; import into your system is checked in the implementation.
  • Drives without an open busAn implementation needs drives on an open industrial bus, for example EtherCAT with CiA 402.
  • Exchange with the upper levelIt works alongside your WMS/MES and warehouse platforms — we are responsible for the equipment level.
